Today i want to expand my discussion on the idea of: what Are SafeLists…How To Make Them Work A safelist is a community of people who agree to receive emails and read them from within the community. Now safelists can be like ice cream and come in 26 flavors….just kidding but what really determines if safelists work is the advertising strategy you use with each type of list. Using safelists is more then setting up a contact and list email box but you must have a proven plan because each safelist will require a different approach.

When i started using safelists, i just fired off emails without tracking the ads or anything. I more or less just filled the pipe line with emails and my results was lousy. Let us review the safelists that are used today and see if thay can really work.

There are 4 Kinds of safelists not including auto-submitters and auto-validators that you can use in your network marketing buisness; Regular safelists, Credit safelists, Credit safelist with views and what is called Safe Ad lists.

1. Regular Safelists: This was the safelist that was first on the scene. The regular safelist is the one that started it all. What makes this list so different from the rest of the safelistsis that it has no incentative to click on your email ad. The regular safelist allows emails to be sent between the members of the safe list. If you are a member of this type of list and you are weak in writing good healines and email copy, you will conclude that safelist don’t work. Regular safelists are tough to get clicks but they can also teach you howto write provocative email headlines and email copy that pulls. Don’t deleted those emails from your list box but collect the best ones. You may find after a while safelists do work.

2. Credit Based Safelists:
Credit Based Safelists are the most forgiving. You don’t need great email copy skills
here. The lousiest email headline can get clicks here. People are just looking for the
credit link at the bottom of your email. Credit based safelists only give you a few
seconds to get the attention of the reader. Your headline has to be incredible and
your email copy must be provcative because you have to grab the readers attention
and keep it. Your email copy is like a splash page more or less of a manual
traffic exchange.

3. Credit Based Safelists With Page Views: These type of credit based safelists have an additional advantage of providing a option that allows you to specify the url of your
choice to send the reader. This allows you to have a url in the email body that is
different then the credit url. This will give you 2 opportunities to get the readers
attention. Usually the credit url that you specify is directed to your capture page
to get sales or the readers information

4. Safe Ad Lists: These are the newest type of safelists that allows it’s members to log
in to the member site to click on the ads of that community. When you click on an ad
of a member, you receive credits for your ads to be clicked on.

Yes i believe safelists do work when you have the right strategy that fits the particular

Many network marketers spend a lot of time using safelists to advertise but do they really work? There are two types of safelists. Credit and no credit. The no credit safelists allow you to send to the subscribers who than in turn will click on your ad if your ad headline can get their attention. That is a great barrier for most network marketers because they are not copy writers. Copy writers know the psychological triggers that cause people to want to open their emails. Another problem is that with regular safelists most everyone is looking to sell a product or a service to someone else. So your ad probably goes into the list email account and deleted by hand or an automatic potty email cleaner.

Credit safelists are better because your email can get read sometimes even if the headline stinks. Subscribers who are looking to earn credits to mail their email to other subscribers will click on just about anything. Over a period of time, multiple impressions of your capture page may persuade someone to actually sign up. The rule of thumb is that your ad must be viewed at least 7 times by an individual before they ever click on it. Remember that for most people their favorite radio station is WIIFM, what’s in it for me. Subscribers must be convince that your ad satisfies a need.

There are also safelist submitters that will blast your ads to thousands of subscribers who seldom will read all the email they are getting but just click on delete in their safelist email account. These submitters are a waste of time and money. My upline gave me an ad and his affiliate link to his blaster. It was of course a very discouraging proposition for me. He didn’t even show me how to set up tracking to see if anyone clicked on the ad.
