Hi!

If you are building a  mlm business, there are some basic things you must understand before joining any business opportunity that uses a multi-level marketing pay plan and that is the pay plan is difficult not so much because of the company but the very nature of a matrix requires that you have like minded people working as a team in order to be successful in making money.

MLM downlines fall apart when the last person at the bottom of your matrix fail to make enough money to cover their expenses for doing business online. Once this “dwindling downline” disease starts, you can go from making money to being broke in a heartbeat.

You can address the retention problem by finding and establishing relationships with the right people and then coming together as a team and then join the  mlm business opportunity. This way you  become a “mlm family” versus being a group of “strangers who happen to be in business together.

Your mlm marketing system must be newbie friendly.  You have to be able to put money in people’s pocket quickly and give them the personal help they need while they learn to marketing online. The “newbie” must see that the marketing system will work and that they will get paid! When this happens, increased downline retention will lead to success. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO

There are so many mlm business opportunities on the internet that it can drive you crazy! Everyone of these network marketing businesses will claim that you can’t lose….now wait a minute! If everybody can actually make a profit, then why is the retention rate hovering around 2-3 percent? Why is the failure rate for mlms 98%?

Well it’s the numbers…multilevel marketing is  a numbers game and as soon as you figure that out the better off you will be. Here are 2 numbers that you must understand from the get-go.

1) 1 out of every 9 people you sponsor will actually be committed to work the business.  This means that in a mlm the numbers suggest you have to sponsor or signup 9 people to get one that will work the mlm business with you. That also means that the person you sponsored has to get 9 signups to get 1 committed business owner. There is not enought spill over or spill under that can help you.

2) Your monthly autoship will have to be low enough till you sponsor enough people in your mlm to pay for it. Those fast start bonus help to change the mindset of those who are signing up for your mlm business to “hang in there” and they usually do for about a month….until that high cost of autoship hits their credit card for $50-$100 dollars. If the fast start bonus was $20, and your autoship was $50, you’re down $30…the second month your credit card is hit again for $50.

3) But they told you that sponsor 2 and you’re done! Oh…wait a minute! The law of averages says that a person with little or no online marketing skills can sponsor only 1.7 to 2 people period, but you need 9 to get the right one baby! I know, you say i am negative! but numbers don’t lie people do! Oh by the way…did you get a marketing system from the company that had the capability to buy leads??? One word that really gets people’s juices flowing is the word “new”. In a network marketing, business opportunity that word seems to rivet people’s attention. Part of the attraction is the implied “fear of loss”, because what is “new” today will not be new next month. That puts the pressure on to make a move now, or you may well be too late to make your fortune. In MLM, another way of saying the same thing is “prelaunch”. Anybody who promotes usint these words with an idea that sounds at all plausible and which has some nice bells and whistles is likely to attract some great attention. Am i right about it? OK.

But here is the problem: most businesses fail. Especially when you have a new business, the chance of them surviving 2 years is certainly under 20%, and maybe much lower. And in any event, new businesses have problems. You could commit 100% to a new business, but others won’t. As soon as they get shipped a bottle with the label upside down, they’ll figure these guys don’t know what they’re doing, and they’ll quit. Any network marketing business opportunity needs some time to get the “bugs” out of the system. Nothing goes just like you planned it. If you join when they’re new, what can go wrong will go wrong, your people will get discouraged, and it will be hard to keep them.

What is the solution? Wait. If you’ve found a really good business opportunity, it will be an even better opportunity in 2 years, because it will have established more credibility and trust with stakeholders. Plus, the “bugs” will have been found and fixed. So it’s best to let the system get the kinks out, rather than jumping on that “new” bandwagon hype. The word “new” can emotionally hijack you into making an unwise business decision.
