3. Find a marketing system that will pay you for generating leads.
This step is crucial in order to recession proof your mlm business opportunity. Many times you can get caught up in the hype about all the money you can make and forget that in any network marketing business opportunity, you have to get traffic to the capture page to generate leads. I have seen some marketing systems asking $300 per month. Your marketing system must generate leads and give you the opportunity to get paid for and cover the monthly costs of your mlm product requirements. The price point of many mlm products for minimum monthly orders too expensive for you to break even much less make a profit. Take a close look at your product price point.
