Hi, James here. It’s amazing the email that you receive today with everyone claiming that they will give you 2 referrals and that you will not have to do anything to collect a check. The sad truth is that mlm success seems simple and it is to those who have a big team that they brought with them into the multi-level network marketing company but most new people don’t have the team or the money to build an organization of thousands of people to make enough money to pay one bill!

One of the reasons that almost 98% of the people fail who join an mlm business opportunity is downline retention. Most all mlm compensation plans fill from left to right 1 position at a time. If you’re are not on your sponsors front line or 2nd line in a typical 5×5 matrix then the probability of your sponsor helping you is slim and none.

Why is that? Well look at the numbers…your sponsor has 5 people on their front line that have their own 5×5 matrix which means their is 25 people on your sponsors 2 level…125 on the third level..525 on the level 4.. if you’re on level 4 at the 525th position…you will not get the help you thought you should…so you drop out. The 2 guys that you sponsored see that you dropped out so they drop out..this goes on and on till the sponsor has to rebuild their downline again and again…
