mlm prelaunch Archives

Hello again from snowy Mi. I received a call from a friend telling me about the best “pre-launch ever”. It extol the virtues of getting your people signed up before the doors open for greater advantage. I just can’t buy into the “hype” anymore! There are 3 reasons that any mlm or network marketing pre-launch want float my boat!

1) I have a problem with the idea of pre-launch because i don’t really know, like or trust the person who’s pitching the pre-launch. I don’t know how many successful business they have started up. I don’t know how times they failed. One thing i do know is this…the word pre-launch is a hype to create “fear of lost”. I refused to be emotional “hijacked”. If the company is so good, it’ll be around 3 years from now. Most new network marketing companies failed in 3- 6 months.  Thats just long enough to get your “one time” payment.

2) Pre-launches don’t float my boat because i haven’t seen the policy and procedures of the network marketing business. In other words, i don’t have a clue what the company is responsible for and what is the scope of my obligations. I am going into the deal blinded by all the hype. We all know “hype” want pay the bills.

3)  The 3rd reason is that the comp plan is generalized but it dosn’t get into the specifics. One word i look for is “matrix”. If it’s not direct sales on a fixed percentage of 25-40% commissions and is a “matrix” compensation plan, then i know right away unless am part of a team or have my own team…my chances of going into this deal and making any money is ZERO.  The 3x anything and above is out of the question because the network marketing industry average is about 1.7-2 people that an average networker sponsors in a life time…go figure. Unless i have a in depth understanding about the comp plan, a pre-launch will never float my boat. Have you ever gotten an email that read “Urgent!! lock in your position now! Amazing mlm business opportunity is in prelaunch. Many people believe the hype of a prelaunch but their really is no such thing 99% of the time. A mlm company is already in business when they advertise the prelaunch.

You see a prelaunch is a term used to create urgency in the mind of a prospect so they will jump in a new mlm business opportunity without thinking. The sad fact still remains that 95% of new mlm business will fail during the first 3-6 months.

Some mlm companies will get cut a deal with a “heavy hitter” that my have a 7000 member downline or even more. The company owners and heavy hitter will get the top positions. Then the heavy hitter will send out communications to his “A” list of heavy hitter business partners who get the rest of the top positions. This is done before the “pre-launch”.

After the “A” list have their positions, the heavy hitters contact their personal “B” list people about the pre-launch of a new MLM business opportunity and start raking in the cash from “fast start” bonuses of the “B” list prospects. The sad part of it is that many marketers follow these heavy hitters from company to company looking for a quick fix to their financial problems. To guard against the myth of the pre-launch, find an mlm business opportunity that has been around 3 years of more and look to see if it has an income statement of independent distributor earnings. This way you will know what you are getting into. For more tips and insight like this post visit: www.5dollarbailout.info
