Hello again from snowy Mi. I received a call from a friend telling me about the best “pre-launch ever”. It extol the virtues of getting your people signed up before the doors open for greater advantage. I just can’t buy into the “hype” anymore! There are 3 reasons that any mlm or network marketing pre-launch want float my boat!
1) I have a problem with the idea of pre-launch because i don’t really know, like or trust the person who’s pitching the pre-launch. I don’t know how many successful business they have started up. I don’t know how times they failed. One thing i do know is this…the word pre-launch is a hype to create “fear of lost”. I refused to be emotional “hijacked”. If the company is so good, it’ll be around 3 years from now. Most new network marketing companies failed in 3- 6 months. Thats just long enough to get your “one time” payment.
2) Pre-launches don’t float my boat because i haven’t seen the policy and procedures of the network marketing business. In other words, i don’t have a clue what the company is responsible for and what is the scope of my obligations. I am going into the deal blinded by all the hype. We all know “hype” want pay the bills.
3) The 3rd reason is that the comp plan is generalized but it dosn’t get into the specifics. One word i look for is “matrix”. If it’s not direct sales on a fixed percentage of 25-40% commissions and is a “matrix” compensation plan, then i know right away unless am part of a team or have my own team…my chances of going into this deal and making any money is ZERO. The 3x anything and above is out of the question because the network marketing industry average is about 1.7-2 people that an average networker sponsors in a life time…go figure. Unless i have a in depth understanding about the comp plan, a pre-launch will never float my boat.
