How Matrix Pay Plans Can Give You The Blues!
Hello, James here. We’re coming to the close of another year and new mlm seekers are fired up again as pre-launch after pre-launch appears on the Internet marketing landscape offering hope for many people who are “stuck in a financial rut.
The hype promises you that you will make $1000 of a week without breaking a sweat! But matrix pay plans can give you the blues in 3 ways… 1) Product changes, Product price changes and the Matrix pay plan changes.
1) Product changes can give you the blues if you are in a company that takes a left turn and changes the formulation of the product. Now the customers that you have are left without their favorite product and you are left selling the product on Ebay.
2) Product price changes can give the mlm distributor the blues. Product price changes is always in favor of the company and the “heavy hitters” with the monster lists. Since 98% of the people who join an mlm opportunity don’t even have a list of 100 people. The product price change impacts the monthly autoship expense and what downline you do have “drys up”. Sometime this is called the “dwindling downline” problem.
3) Matrix compensation plans can give you the blues. When your mlm company changes the comp plan due to the lack of sales, it can make you bang your head on a piano! Sometimes the cost per direct referral is reduced. Just a 50% change from $1 to 50 cents can give the company a 50% increase in profits and you a 50% decrease in earnings. I know of a network marketing company that used a 2 up qualifier in order for you to get matrix pay. In other words…you were qualified for matrix pay on your third direct referral( the industry average is 2.7 sales to 3) ha..ha.. Many are still waiting for the spillover that you want get paid on.
